The Big Quiz - A Big Thank You
Our early season get together and fundraiser on Friday 25 May 2012 was very well supported and a great success raising approximately £500 for the club and wateraid.
Thank you to everyone who attended and all of those who helped on the evening.
2012 Fixture List
Please accept our apologies for the late issue of the fixture booklet, unfortunately owing to the poor weather at the start of the season some of the Junior matches are being re-scheduled, once these revised dates are confimed we will finalise and issue the full fixtures.
In the meantime a copy of the current fixture list can be found here or go to Documents under 2012 Fixture List. Please note that the U15 games in particular will be subject to changes.
Code of Conduct & Safeguarding Policy
As part of our declared obligations in the Cricket Club's Constitution, the management committee have prepared and approved the following policies and guidelines which can be found by clicking on 'Documents' - under 'Membership & Constitution':
- Code of Conduct for Members and Guests
- Child Safeguarding Policy
- Junior Player Profile Form
The aim of these documents is to provide clarity regarding the minimum standards of conduct expected from our members and guests and to help satisfy our obligation to ensure that cricket activities are conducted in a manner that will safeguard the integrity of the club for the enjoyment of all members and guests without discrimination.
We have endeavoured to provide guidelines that are sensible, practical and commensurate with the voluntary nature and size of our club and we hope that we have achieved this objective.
Ground Preparation - Please Help!
We ae pleased to see the ground looking impressive again following the early weather challenges. the secret now is to ensure that our groundsman receives regular support throughout the season to keep the ground looking magnificent.
Ground preparation takes place every Sturday from 10.30am if you can spare an hour please lend a hand, we would appreciate as much help as possible.
100 Club
Now is the time to pay your 100 club subs again. The cost of a number is £20 for the year. Please click here to see which numbers you had last year and which are available this year. Draws will take place as follows:
28th April £50, £35, £20 (Due to no cricket draw postponed to later date)
25th May (at the quiz) Double Draw
30th June
28th July
25th August
Annual Dinner

Membership fees
Membership fees are due before 31 May 2012, if you have not paid your membership please return as soon as possible.
