Fun. Learn. Develop. Fun.

Our approach to junior cricket is simple: enjoy the game, learn new skills and develop together.

We welcome boys and girls in school years 2 to 10, with an emphasis on inclusion and participation. Results have their place, but helping every child feel involved, build confidence and enjoy playing comes first.

Along the way, our young cricketers learn teamwork, communication and respect in a safe, supportive environment. There’s plenty for families to enjoy too, with barbecues and refreshments after practice and time to relax together.

Kwik Cricket and Under 11s

School years 2 to 6

Kwik Cricket is a fun introduction to the game, using a soft ball, plastic bats and stumps. Simple formats and regular rotations give everyone plenty of opportunities to take part, with more time playing and less time getting caught up in technicalities.

In 2026, 22 youngsters took part across three mini tournaments. They played 12 games, winning eight.

Under 11 cricket introduces players to the traditional red ball game. We provide all equipment and play pairs cricket, giving everyone the chance to bat and bowl.

Our first season in this format saw 16 players take part in eight matches. They earned one win and made encouraging progress throughout the season, laying strong foundations for 2027.

Under 15s

School years 7 to 10

Our Under 15s enjoyed a memorable 2026 season, bringing together players of different ages, genders and abilities with a wonderful team spirit.

We vary players’ roles to give everyone the chance to contribute. Across seven league matches, the team won five and lost two, with several thrilling finishes: four wins came by fewer than five runs, while one defeat was by just a single run.

Fifteen players featured during the season, with several also gaining experience in our senior teams. We look forward to building on that progress in 2027.
